I mentioned before that the Pittman family has a strange pattern that follows the birth order of children, grandchildren and now even great-grandchildren. This is how we knew we would have a second boy:
It starts with Wally (Wallace Sr.) and Juanita. They have 5 children, three girls and then two boys--Pam, Cindy, Paige, Stan and finally Chris.
Then you move on to the grandchildren. Bennett will make #10, six girls and now 4 boys--Kari, Shelly, Holly, Josh, Brandon, Karrissa, Casey, Hannah, Kirby and soon to add Bennett (again following the same pattern of 3 girls then 2 boys and repeating).
The first great-grandchild was born to Kari and her husband Brad in January of 2005--Delaney. (It's funny becuase the youngest child--Chris-- and the oldest grandchild--Kari--actually went to High School together for a year. She is less than two years younger than me, she is deffinitely more like Aunt Kari to Kirby than a cousin. I like to confuse people by talking about my neice and now great neice. :)
Anyway, all that to show there is a pattern. There is always three girls, then two boys born. That is why we were sure that Kirby and Bennett would both be boys. It was time for a boy to follow in the line. It's weird how it has continued on. Hence, the Pittman Mystery. :)

You crack me up with this. But, it is kind of odd isn't it..
So we're in line for girls after Bennett right?
According to Stan, the next grandchild after Bennett will be a girl. Which is good for me since I do want a girl if we decide to have more. Maybe not so good for Chris--we told them we were racing for the next boy!
But also according to your Uncle Stan, you have started a new tier with the great grandchildren so the pattern starts all over again. We'll see how all that works out. It is weird so far though. :)
