The next morning we woke up to clouds and rain storms. We waited them out and by the time we ate lunch it cleared up enough to venture out. We all got beach ready and headed for a fun afternoon. It was close to nap time for Kirby but we decided to see how long he could last before sleep took over. He played for quite a while.
We finally got Kirby to keep his sunglasses on. He figured out they were much better than squinting all day.
Kirby walked to the ocean. He's doing really well with his walking. He can even go a couple of steps with only holding on to one hand.
They sat and let the waves wash over their legs. Kirby seemed to enjoy it.
Stan and I went on a walk. When we returned we found that sleep won out. Kirby was doing some good napping on the beach. He got a good power nap and was ready for his evening.
Grommy and Paparazzi babysat for us and let us have a date night. We drove to Shallotte and had dinner and saw a movie. Our first movie in the theatre since the Fall.
And now for Sunday...
