Week 2: Class and Vacation

Week #2 of our trip was half a class (which Stan ended up getting out of because Bennett was sick the whole week and he had already had the class) and half vacation time. By the end of the week Bennett was fever free but we all had colds so vacation was more resting than anything but we tried to get out a little. We had some pool time and then went to a pretty nice mall nearby. Not to mention all the Western food! Yummy!

The view from our room. We never ventured out to the beach because it's pretty dirty and it's common to find broken glass and used needles out there.

We did enjoy the pool several times.

Armed with swimmies and goggles (which he doesn't have on here) Kirby became independent in the pool for the first time. He loved to kick and move around on his own. We're hoping we can get Bennett to do the same this summer.

We had a fun time despite all having major colds. But still didn't get out nearly as much as originally planned. No worries, more Thailand adventures to come this summer. And next time we will also get to welcome a new baby brother or sister!
