Pickle J and Aunt Cake, with candles

Congratulations to Uncle J and Aunt Kate. They were married on Saturday in a nice ceremony on Sunset Beach. We missed the ceremony bacause of the Triathlon--before you think I'm a terrible sister for skipping the wedding for the race you should know that the wedding wasn't planned until two weeks before and it was originally just going to be an elopement and it wasn't until later that more family was going, J understood and asked if we could make it for dinner. We got there in time for the celebration dinner at the Sugar Shack. Everytime we told Kirby that Uncle J (which sounds like Pickle J when he says it) was getting married to Kate he would ask for candles. He thought we were saying 'Cake' and he thinks all cake should have candles like a Birthday cake. So the whole time Kirby kept saying Pickle J and Aunt Cake, with candles, was getting married. Very funny. So it was a really nice day, the ceremony was beautiful on a beautiful day and J and Kate were so happy. We enjoyed a dinner with the family and I'm really looking forward to getting to spend more time getting to know Kate. I love her already for making my brother so happy. Enjoy these pictures!

On another funny Kirby note, he also enjoyed spending time with Pickle Frank and Pickle Beth. Frank and Mary Beth are my Aunt and Uncle and Kirby was getting a bit confused and was calling MB, Pickle Beth instead of Aunt Mary Beth. She loved it!
